About

I was born in Pakistan in 1990. I realized New York City would offer more opportunity so I moved to NYC in 1992.

At 18, I went to study History and Philosophy at Stony Brook University. In college, I realized that while I loved academia, my goal in life was to have a positive impact on as many people as possible. So I dropped out 3 weeks before graduation and began working on Campusvine, my first company.

In 2012, I moved to Bushwick, Brooklyn to pursue Campusvine, which is when I met Nooklyn. At the time, Nooklyn was a small real estate brokerage operating out of a converted factory. I ran out of money fairly quickly as NYC is far more expensive then you’d think. So I began building and designing a website for Nooklyn so I could eat regularly.

Fast forward 6 years, I’ve been the CTO, CFO and now Chief Design Officer at Nooklyn. The company has grown beyond my wildest imagination. Currently, Nooklyn has a workforce of over 400 people.

What a life.
